One of the funny things about my job is my clients pitch Christmas ideas in March. Orders for holidays are sewn up before summer. Thank God I live in Vermont, where the snow falls through Spring and people keep their holiday lights up until the sun starts shining. See how we West coast transplants have to fool ourselves to get through winter?
These are design ideas for candy packages. The actual package will be a printed zipper pouch with the candy showing through a "cutout" window. I think you can tell by the first few ideas that I was a tiny bit influenced by spring-time, because those colors are pretty Eastery. But I like the way they are a-typical Christmas colors. Sometimes with a shelf stuffed with red and green, all it takes is a shot of magenta to stand out from the crowd. Hope the buyers think so, anyways.
